World Series Titles

First organized world series

Baseball has always been around much before 1903, but this was the first time they actually recorded a world series. The Pittsburg Pirates were defeated by the Boston Americans who are known as today as the Boston Red Sox. Teams were much different back then because they all were originally from other states, different names, or even just both. Many teams today did not even exist at that time.

First Yankee ring

The New York Yankees holds the title of the most World Series ring at 27. When was their first ring? Well in this image, you see the 1923 New York Yankees who won their first world series. They were tremendous throughout those years and the most recent ring for the Yankees was in 2009. They had a chance to win in 2017, but they didn't and lost to the Astros in the ALCS. The yankees have the targets now after the big trade with getting Giancarlo Stanton in the house. They showed their talent in 2017 and were a wild card team that did not back down.

First Astros world series title

The Houston Astros who became a team in 1962, has won their first ever world series in 2017. This had to be the most exciting post season with plenty of homeruns, but the Astros fought their way. They did in fact use to be in the National League until they switched to the American League in 2013. The Astros had a record of 101-61 and beat the LA Dodgers who were meant to win the entire thing after sweeping every team until Houston came about in game 3 of the WS.
