Most historic MLB moments
Cubs finally win 108 years later...!
108 years ago from 2016, the Chicago Cubs won their last world series until it has been done again in 2016. The movie back to the future predicted the Cubs to win but in 2015 when the Cubs were a series behind from making it, but the NY Mets swept them. The movie is now 100% fiction, but still is amazing how they won the year after and almost made it in 2015. I always thought personally that the cubs had no shot because how many loses they had in the past. That world series meant a lot not only to the team, but to the city of Chicago.
Should Pete Rose be in the hall of fame?
Pete Rose, also known as Charlie Hustle, had the most hits in his career in history. 4,256 hits and 44 consecutive game hitting streak which nobody has ever beaten, and after his career he became a manager for the Reds. He was gambling on baseball, and his punishment once he was caught was to either be arrested, or have no part in the MLB; That means he wouldn't also be in the hall of fame which is the route he took. His stats are said to never be broken, but the stats would never be written in the hall of fame. A true Legend with his fame taken from him. People tried to get him in, but it never worked out. I personally think a historic record should always be stood on the top and known. People do argue stating that there has been worse things like cheating which is very common today using steroids. They are still part of MLB which is very unfair but like everyone says, Life is not fair...
Back to back homeruns with your father?
How amazing would it be to play Major League Baseball with your father on the same team? Well Ken Griffey also known as "The kid," got to expirence that. Not only did he play with his father, but Ken Griffey Sr, hit a homerun against the Los Angeles Angels and next up to the plate is his son, "The kid." Griffey jr then hits a ball to left center field... and gone! The kid just homered right after his father did. That is probably the most amazing joyful moment someone could ever have, hitting back to back home runs with your own father. Ken griffey jr always had the talent and has won the homerun derby. With such a smooth effortless swing, he'd hit the ball a mile. Their relationship was just more than father and son, but it was almost like they were brothers. The feeling of that is something that could not be explained. Ken Griffey jr hits back to back home runs with his father
a player everyone must know of
