My Favorite Sports Teams

My favorite sports teams are the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and the New York Knicks. The New York Yankees are an American professional baseball team based in the New York City borough of the Bronx. The Yankees compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League East division. They are one of two major league clubs based in New York City, the other being the New York Mets of the National League. In the 1901 season, the club began play in the AL as the Baltimore Orioles. Frank Farrell and Bill Devery purchased the franchise and moved it to New York City, renaming the club the New York Highlanders. The Highlanders were officially renamed the Yankees in 1913. The reason why they are my favorite team is because is because my father loves the team so i grew up watching them i loved them even more because they had my favorite player baseball player of all time Derek Jeter. They are also 27 time world series champs.The New York Giants are a professional American football team based in the New York metropolitan area. The Giants compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.The reason why im a giant fan is because again my father watched the team so i grew up watching them. They also have my idol Odell Beckham Jr. The giants are 4x superbowl champs. The New York Knickerbockers, commonly referred to as the Knicks, are an American professional basketball team based in New York City in the borough of Manhattan. They have a stud player named Kristaps Porzingis. Again I grew up watching the knicks because of my father. The knicks are also 2x nba champs.
