My Hobbies

I have many interesting and fun hobbies. I love playing the sport volleyball, I started playing the sport in 7th grade. My freshman year I tried out for the team and made all 3 teams, varsity, junior varsity, and the freshman team, I was really proud of myself but I yet still have so much to learn. I've played beach, indoor and outdoor volleyball, but I have to say that playing beach volleyball is my favorite. It's really fun because it's on sand and just the sport itself is. Playing volleyball is my passion and lifestyle.

Another hobby I have is going out with my friends to hang out. I love being out, staying home is just a bore and a waste of time to me. When I'm out with friends, we would go to the park to play basketball, volleyball, and other activities. We would also go out and eat at places like Burger King or Carvel. We've also gone to places like Hoboken to play in volleyball courts and eat at expensive and good places together. Hanging out with my friends would keep me distracted from other things that would bother me. It's pretty much a stress reliever for me.

I LOVE music! I play the alto saxophone, it's a woodwind instrument in the sax family. I'm in my school's band and chorus and it's amazing! You get to meet amazing people and you're always surrounded by talent. Playing and learning more about music is a very good experience to me. You'll understand things more. As I got more into music, I learned how to play piano from my peers and teachers. Playing an instrument is such an accomplishment and it's fun too!
